Building a Town Square for the Global Futurist Community

As editor of Compass, an online magazine published quarterly by the Association of Professional Futurists (APF.org), I have worked to turn Compass into a town square where futurists from around the world, including members of APF, share their expertise and insights about all things foresight. Each issue features a cover theme with articles focusing on a specific topic (future of cities, future of healthcare, future of AI). Other sections include World of Futures Thinking, Case Studies, How-To and Books and Media. The 150+ page magazine typically includes 20+ articles from futurists around the world, as well as futurists at all stages of their career, from emerging futurists to the field’s most legendary figures.
